About Lightning Captures Photography

Hey y'all! My name is Kassidy Shelton and I was raised on a farm just outside of Asheville, NC. I reckon you could say that animals and the great outdoors are in my blood. Photography is my passion, but I also work as a radiologic technologist. I take pictures inside and out! 😜

God has blessed me with a love for freezing moments in time, and my best friend, Robert. We dated for six long years before finally tying the knot. Now we've been married for 7 years and time sure does fly when you're having fun! Robert is my high school sweetheart, hunting buddy, better half, and love of my life all rolled into one. In February 2023, we welcomed our first baby, Blane into the family and we can't even remember our lives before he was here!

Because of my passion, I want to photograph those moments that flash before our eyes and capture us in awe, like lightning in a storm. Lightning comes from a nickname my Papaw gave me. Family is everything to me. I wouldn't be who I am today without them.

I want to climb these beautiful mountains with y'all and capture the perfect sunset. I want to snap photos of your grand-babies and help you remember your special moment in time.
